Different types of poo and the feelings they produce on me.

A good way to determine a bird´s health without disturbing its peace it´s observing its poo.
Regarding pigeons it´s inevitable as they use to defecate at any time in every place.
We talk a lot about poo in this blog, because this is a shitty blog, but full of affection shit, as nothing makes me feel happier than seeing healthy poo.
What can different types of pigeon´s poo tell us about?

I´m not expecting to give a microbiology or stool testing class; real diagnosis are made with a microscope, bacterial culture, or at least using the correct dye to observe each parasite.

But, at first glance we can have some signs that shows if we need to go to our vet, change or improve the food habits, or just isolate the bird for a while to avoid infections.

About Droppings:

SOLID
1) In the first strip I talked  about my first annoyance with the avian gifts, especially when theyfall over your body. 

After a while we get upset, then angry and finally resigned

WHITE
2) When is white means it's only pee, It's unusual and curious. Nothing to be worried about

LIQUID WITH BUBBLES
3) Before incubation period, "Peepoo" invariably makes a bubbly liquid, which is much different of the dangerous diarrhea. In times of  egg laying  you shouldn't be concerned, instead get excited instead! especially if you are a fancier.
When she broods  deposes just a few times at day, that's why she makes industrial amounts  of very solid poo. Again there's notthing to be worried  about,  if it is solid and normal of course.

LIQUID WITH SOLID
4) When you find solids or partially diluted poo in a liquid medium, it means the bird is starving,  Also she will be down and you must distinguish regular poo from diarrhea.

DANGER

5) All forms of persistent diarrhea should be examined by a licensed veterinarian. Verify that your veterinarian performs CULTURES before analyzing the excrement WITH MICROSCOPE.

6) LIQUID WITH SEEDS, 
Is bad. The bird is not ready yet for seeds, and the seeds could harm the digestive system or crop disorders.  

7) BLOOD COLOUR, RED OR PINK
Maybe all the examples shown above, are a pretty harmless and regular. 
When the bird is notoriously DOWN and shows any type of red liquid or blood in the poo, you must go mediately to the vet with no hesitation.

Pigeons poo is corrosive

A small preview of a future more technical post that I will make about lies and exaggerations concerning pigeon´s poo.

Usually, governments look for support in the pigeon´s slaughtering but what actually upsets people is the sweety pigeon´s poo all over their cars.

The background graffiti have been added because graffiti is one of my favorite hobbies. It´s one of the most discredited and hindered art despite it uses the latest painting technique. (the airspary). It will be probably the art of the future. 

Thanks to everyone who supported and encourage me to continue with this project that makes me feel so happy. I hope to organize some brief passages whenever I do not have the time to make more elaborate ones. There´s a lot that I want to do, and I appreciate your interest since my firsts simple doodles. Thanks!

Above all  I would  like to give them some credits  for their work and dedication. THERE are more types of pigeons and pets that can be trained which are not included here, but I just wanted to draw some of them.

The largest pigeon in the world

Also. the dodo is sadly famous for being the most advertised animal destroyed by humans. Its disturbing disappearance was a precursor of understanding,  diffusion and care of the  other species . Apparently was very easy to hunt  because it was too confident and calm, however it was not just  that, their environment was destroyed for its resources and for being exploited and later was invaded by farm animals.

Furthermore Solitaire Rodriguez , had a great a lump of bone on the thumb covered by a thick layer of hardened skin, which would indicate they used it as weapons as some geese do today ... anyone who has seen an angry pigeon can testify how they hit (us) with their wings.

The Goura Victoria has three variants that are called more or less similar (Iin honor of Queen Victoria) is a huge , impressive , lovely animal, which is starting to be endangered because of its capture for pets  use...

Technical difficulties

I Recently  had some problems with my operative system, later with my scanner and finally my beloved monitor died sudenly.  It stop working after 7 years and I can't replace it.  Because of that I had to stop publishing my blog just when I was begining.

But I will persist!  I hope to upload some  of the draws I already did

now that I've fixed all  my devices!
